1947
Fujio Kondo founded Kondo Shoten as a private company in Izuo, Taisho-ku, Osaka.

Established Kondo Shoten Co., Ltd. with a capital of 2,500 thousand yen
and set up its head office in Izuo, Taisho-ku, Osaka.
Began production and sale of hardware for vessels.
1955
Changed the company name to KONDO IRON WORKS CO., LTD.
1956
Began production of shackles at head office factory.
1957
Opened Tokyo Satellite Office (currently Tokyo Branch).
1962
Opened Tokyo Factory.
Began production of turn buckles (Respond to the increase in turn buckle demand,
switch production of shackle at head office factory to production of turn buckle).
1964
Opened Nagoya Satellite Office (currently Nagoya Branch) and Trade Division (currently International Sales Division).
1965
Opened Fukuoka Satellite Office (currently Fukuoka Branch).
Began production of wire ropes.
1966
Opened Sapporo Satellite Office (currently Sapporo Branch) and Kyusyu Factory.

Began in earnest sales of temporary construction tools.
Opened Shizuoka Office.
Completed separator automatic line in Kyushu Factory.
1985
Body of turnbuckle for building was accredited as JIS No.1.
Established the New Business Division (Structural Steel Sales Division).
Opened Osaka Branch (currently Kansai Branch) in organization of the New Business Division.
1986
Opened Saitama Office, Kanazawa Satellite Office (currently Kanazawa Office) and Kobe Satellite Office (currently Kobe Office).
Kyushu Factory recognized as JIS factory of turnbuckles and brace for the first time in the industry.
Opened Nagasaki Satellite Office (currently Nagasaki Office).
Began sale of synthetic resins, industrial plastic products, strings, bags, sheets, etc.
1988
Kyushu Factory authorized to display mark and number under the shaft assembly construction housing excellent joint metal fitting standards by Japan Housing Wood Material Technical Center.
Opened Kanto Office (currently Kanto Branch).
Completed the second factory A building in Kyushu Factory.
Began production of construction boards.
