KONDOTEC INC. marks 77 years since its foundation. We sincerely appreciate the support of all stakeholders including, customers, suppliers, employees and shareholders.
Founded in 1947, KONDOTEC INC. started business by manufacturing hardware for vessels. We expanded business by selling products into the civil engineering and construction industry. Our business has expanded into a wide range of industries, such as electrical equipment, railway, agriculture, forestry and indirect materials in factory. We are walking together with our stakeholders to build a brighter future while respecting the 77-years history of KONDOTEC based on our unchanging corporate philosophy – “We strive to contribute to the creation of an affluent society by nurturing our employees, who would shape the future, and by conducting corporate activities with innovate and pioneering way.”
The construction industry, our main customer base, has many problems such as labor shortages, aging workforce, and logistics challenges. However, we view these problems as business opportunities and turn them into our strengths. In this way, we will strengthen the KONDOTEC’s presence in the market.”

Inventory and Logistics

KONDOTEC has established a structure with all 49 nationwide operating sites having inventories to deliver products and merchandise quickly. In response to concerns about the 2024 problem in the logistics industry, we will further strengthen our inventory and logistics functions. Specifically, we will expand the size of our warehouses and inventory of long objects and irregular-shaped objects that are considered difficult to transport. By having large logistics warehouses in Osaka and Ibaraki and factories in Hokkaido, Ibaraki, Shiga, and Fukuoka, we are able to realize quick delivery from operating sites located near customers, thereby contributing to easing the logistics burden and reducing CO2 emissions for the sake of the environment. All our operating sites across Japan have inventories of materials for recovery/reconstruction such as tarpaulins and sandbags to prepare for increasing natural disasters. It enables us to immediately respond to such urgent demand for products and merchandise and fulfill our social responsibilities.

Manufacturing and Development

We obtained the ISO 9001 and 14001 certifications and Japanese Industrial Standard (JIS) certification at all our factories and manufacture products in compliance with the standards of various industries. We have strengths in manufacturing in-house products with high market share such as construction turnbuckle braces, set of anchor bolt for structures, and scaffolding suspension chains. Recently, we launched our own distinctive products such as lightweight scaffolding suspension chains, “Carina”, high strength chains, ”CATENA”, and ”HI TEN CONBRACE” that goes beyond the conventional wisdom in the steel frame construction industry. We will continue to further improve development and production of our unique products and provide high value-added products.

Proposal and Selling

As a manufacturer and wholesale company, we have the advantage of supplying about 50,000 items that are used from oceans to mountains and other artificial structures such as buildings, factories, and bridges, to domestic and overseas 20,000 or more customers in various fields. By taking advantage of our manufacturing and wholesale functions, we will work to provide new products and merchandise that are tailored to customer needs while cultivating new customers and expanding business areas. Moreover, our group companies each have a different focus: Sanwa Denzai expands procurement and sales of electrical equipment, scaffolding companies within Nippon Scaffolding Holdings expand businesses in the maintenance/repair field with growth prospects, and Kuriyama Aluminum is engaged in the manufacture and development of aluminum extrusion products that meet needs for weight reduction. Working together as a Group, we will strive to improve our abilities to propose and sell in order to respond to customer needs.
